Where should the apps your team builds with AI live?

They should live in one place the whole company can open and owns, such as a spawnpoint team, so they keep working when the person who built them is away. Today most of them live on one person's laptop.

That is what happens by default. Someone in sales asks Claude Code for a dashboard of this quarter's deals, and it works. Someone in operations builds a lunch order form with Codex. Each app runs on the computer of the person who made it, so it stops when that laptop closes, and nobody else can open it.

spawnpoint is the place where your team's AI lives. Someone signs in with a work email and starts a team. Coworkers who sign in with the same @yourcompany.com address join it, with no invitations to send. Each person runs one line that connects their coding agent, and from then on "deploy this" puts an app online for the team.

A team app belongs to the team. Every member can open it, any admin can manage it, and it stays online when its builder is away. The team page lists every app, who built it, and when it last changed, so any member can find the sales dashboard there.

Nobody outside the company can open a team app unless someone shares it or makes it public. A member can share one app with a contractor by email, and the contractor opens it with a one-time code from their inbox, without making an account. spawnpoint refuses an app with an API key written into its code.

The team also keeps what its agents share. MCP servers, small programs that agents can ask for things like a customer's history in the CRM, are listed on the team page. Skills, written instructions for a task such as how the team writes its weekly report, are published once, and every member's agent that is signed in for the team can follow them. A shared space holds the files every app and agent should know about, like this week's priorities or a customer list. Apps can read it and cannot change it.

What people build this way is small and specific: a sales dashboard, a lunch order form, an on-call schedule, an onboarding guide, a tool that looks up a customer in the CRM.

The free plan covers a team of three with one live app at a time. The Team plan is $99 a month for up to ten people, with unlimited apps, and team apps can open under a domain your company owns.
