Where to put the apps you build with Claude Code: 7 options compared
For an app you built with Claude Code that your coworkers need to open, spawnpoint is the shortest path: one sentence to the agent puts it online at a private link, and the people you share it with open it with a code from their email. For a public website with many visitors, Vercel is the better fit. If you would rather build in a browser than in Claude Code, Replit, Lovable, and Base44 each have their own editor and agent.
The seven options differ in three ways: who can open an app while it is private, what it costs when ten people build, and whether the app can stay what your agent wrote or has to be rebuilt from the platform's own parts.
spawnpoint
spawnpoint is the place where your team's AI lives. Claude Code connects to it once, and from then on "deploy this" puts an app online at a private link. The app can be a page, a Python or JavaScript server, or a program in any other language, on its own machine with a folder that keeps its files, and the agent gives it a database, file storage, or AI on open models when it needs one. You share it with email addresses or with everyone at your company's email domain, and each person opens it with a one-time code from their inbox, with no account. Free runs one live app. Pro is $100 a month and covers up to 2 teams of up to 10 members each, who don't pay. An app that is not always on sleeps after an hour with no visitors and takes about half a minute to wake, and Pro includes 5 always-on apps. spawnpoint is in beta.
Vercel
Vercel suits engineers shipping a website or a product to the public: pages load fast from anywhere, and every change gets a preview link. Its MCP server, the connection an agent uses to reach it, has been able to deploy since July 2026. A private deployment opens for members of your Vercel team, people you approve one at a time, or anyone holding a share link. There is no setting for everyone at a company's email domain, short of sign-in through your own identity provider on Enterprise. Server code runs as functions that keep no files between requests, so an app that saves its data to a file needs a separate database first. Pro is $20 a month for each person who deploys, plus usage, so ten people who build cost $200 a month before usage.
Replit
Replit puts an editor in the browser, Replit Agent, and publishing in one product. Its MCP server lets Claude Code create and publish Replit apps, which then live in a Replit workspace. Pro is $100 a month for up to 15 builders and 50 viewers, paid as monthly credits, and an app that stays on around the clock is a Reserved VM at $15 to $130 a month from those credits. A private app opens for your workspace and for people you invite, who sign in through Replit. Replit fits people who want to build with nothing installed on their computer, and a team with more than 10 builders.
Lovable
Lovable builds a web app from a description on its website and publishes it with one click, with a backend it runs for you on Lovable Cloud. Apps are public by default. On Free and Pro you can limit an app to 10 invited people, and limiting it to your workspace needs Business. Visitors to a restricted app sign in with a Lovable account. Pro starts at $25 a month for 100 credits and Business at $50, members are unlimited, and each message to Lovable's agent uses credits. Lovable can sync a project to GitHub and take changes made in other tools. It fits one person who has never used a coding agent.
Base44
Base44 builds apps in its own editor and meters building in message credits that the whole workspace shares: about half a credit for a small change and 3 to 4 for a change across the whole app. A new app can be private only on the Starter plan or above, and each person you invite signs up on the app the first time. Claude Code and Cursor can work on a Base44 app on Builder and above, through its MCP server. Server code runs as functions that stop after five minutes.
Retool
Retool builds internal tools from its own components, in its editor or with its AI, on top of databases a company already runs. It has permission groups and audit logs, and it can run on your own servers. It does not take an app your agent wrote. It bills each person who uses its apps: the Team plan is $12 a month per builder and $7 per internal user. It fits screens over a production database that an IT team controls.
Claude artifacts
An artifact is the quickest way to make a page in Claude, and sharing is built in: by link or by email on Pro and Max, and with your whole organization on Team and Enterprise. Everyone who opens a shared artifact needs a Claude account. An artifact can save up to 20 MB of text on paid plans, and one that uses Claude or connects to your apps cannot be shared by link. When an artifact needs a server, more data, or viewers without Claude, Claude can put it on spawnpoint from the same chat.
