spawnpoint vs Lovable for a team's apps
Lovable is the shorter path for someone with no coding agent: you describe an app on Lovable's website, its agent builds it, and one click publishes it. spawnpoint is for teams whose people already use Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or Claude chat. Each person keeps working in their own agent, the apps go online in one place the team owns, and the people they share with open them with no account.
Lovable prices a workspace by credits, with unlimited members. Pro starts at $25 a month for 100 credits and Business at $50, and each message to Lovable's agent uses credits. On spawnpoint the building happens in the agent each person already pays for, so spawnpoint does not charge for it. Pro is $100 a month for the person who makes the team, up to 10 members join free, and nothing is billed by usage.
Sharing works differently. A Lovable app is public by default. On Free and Pro you can limit it to up to 10 invited people per project, and limiting it to your workspace or a custom list needs Business. Visitors to a restricted app sign in with a Lovable account. On spawnpoint every app starts private, and you share it with email addresses or with everyone at your company's email domain, on every plan including Free. People open it with a one-time code from their inbox and never make an account.
The apps differ too. Lovable builds a web app with a backend it writes and runs for you on Lovable Cloud: a database, file storage, sign-in, and server functions. A spawnpoint app is whatever your agent writes, including a Python or JavaScript server or a program in any other language, on its own machine with a folder that keeps its files. On Pro each app can have a database of up to 8 GiB, 50 GiB of file storage, and AI on open models.
Lovable is better for one person working alone on a small budget and for anyone who has never used a coding agent. It can also sync a project to GitHub and take changes made in other tools. spawnpoint is for a company where many people build apps with their own agents and need them in one private place.
